world book day

6/3/2025

All the pupils (and staff) enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. The children, if they wished, came to school  dressed either as a book character or in their pyjamas with a bedtime book. Many children also made a potato book character to share in their classes. Following an assembly led by Little Rabbit Foo Foo, so the children could see how members of other classes looked, each class was given a book that they based their learning around.

pinocchio

3/3/2025

To start off our World Book Day celebrations, the children were lucky enough to see a performance of the classic story of Pinocchio. They joined in with helping Pinocchio on his journey, crossing their fingers to help him when he was in trouble. Once the rest of the school had watched the performance, Year 6 were able to find out more about how the performance was put on - learning about the scenery changes, the props and the different characters.
